Week 4 Basketball Update & Players of the Week!

We have completed our first month of travel basketball tournaments! As an organization, we are EXTREMELY proud of the dedication and improvement that we are seeing from our teams! Over the course of our first month on the AAU scene, DEA Nation has garnered 6 tournament championships,(program wide) over six runner up finishes, and many other accolades! We look forward to continued success the rest of the way!

Highlights from this past weekend:

- Our 10U team took the #1 ranked 4th grade team in the Midwest to overtime!

- 11U Black finished as Runner up in their division

- 13U Black finished as Runner up in their division

- 15U Black wins the Championship!

DEA Nation also received MANY compliments from the tournament host, opposing parents, clock managers, etc... Huge thank you to ALL parents and players for making these compliments possible!

Week 4 Players of the weekend

Connor McAndrews 13U Black: "Connor simply dominated the inside with strong moves to the basket and offensive put backs". He averaged 16ppg in leading his team to a 2nd place finish. Connor was also able to get to the free throw line and converted on many of those opportunities. Way to go Connor, keep up the great work!

Jakub Baranski 15U Black: Jakub was the driving force behind his teams championship weekend. While averaging 10ppg Jakub was tough on both ends of the floor. His leadership mixed with his high basketball IQ was sensational to watch. In the championship game Jakub scored a team high 15 points and showed toughness on the defensive end! Excellent job Jakub, keep working hard!
